The Kat Von D Lock-Information technology Setting Powder is available at Sephora and retails for $thirty.00 USD for .67oz. It is packaged in a standard plastic tub container with a black twist-off cap with the large Kat Von D logo on information technology. The sifter in the shape of Kat's iconic star, that is on most of her packaging. The container is large and sturdy without being absurdly large. I took information technology with me on my trip because I wanted to exam it out. Although it took up a large space in my makeup purse, I was still able to carry quite a lot with me.
The Sephora website describes the powder as:
A weightless translucent loose powder, formulated with Micro-Blurring Engineering science™, to set up and perfect for a flawless, locked-in terminate.
Experience a next level setting powder. Kat Von D's innovative formula uses delicate mica powders rather than the heavy, chalky bounden ingredients found in other powders—reducing the weight past 30 percent. This prevents the dry, chalky terminate most powders leave behind, and instead delivers a perfectly smoothen, seamless await, with the aforementioned number of uses.
This silky, not-drying powder features Micro-Blurring Technology to softly lengthened pores for a refined, selfie-set up finish. Formulated to be undetectable on all skintones, Lock-It Setting Pulverisation has a complexion-boosting blend of mattifying particles to smooth imperfections and lock-in your look for a velvety matte terminate. For flawless all-over setting, use with the Lock-It Setting Powder Brush. To bake or set under-middle concealer, use the Lock-It Precision Powder Brush.
The description is pretty much "on the money", exactly every bit it claims to be! The pulverisation itself, is a translucent universal shade that has a slight yellow tint to it. On the pare it is completely invisible. The powder is incredibly fine! I mean, actually really finly milled!!! When I dip my brush into it, I can barely see it on at that place but it creates a puff of smoke! Its so fine information technology literally looks like smoke! Holy cow! I was diddled away and honestly a little scared that I have been inhaling too much of it on accident. On the skin, it is completely weightless, I mean I literally experience like nothing is on just my makeup is mattified! This is like HD pulverization to the side by side level! I always felt I could still experience the Hard disk drive powder on my skin, but with this powder, I feel nothing! I also find this powder to be quite smoothing, its glides over the pare leaving it feeling silky and polish. The finish is besides a very natural matte, obviously this depends on how much yous put on, I took this pulverisation with me to desert, where is was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and it held my makeup together!
This powder photographs with a slight flashback. I didn't "broil" my face simply but set the high points/highlighted areas of my face with the powder. The effect with flash photography is a brightened/reflected calorie-free look on those areas. However, it does not bear witness any powderiness, like the Hd powders often exercise, on camera.
Overall, I'm very impressed with this powder! I didn't accept loftier expectations for information technology, just because I thought information technology would be "merely a pulverisation" simply it is incredible! A little goes such a long way and I feel for the cost, its a great value! I don't remember I take always used such a finely milled powder before. I love how weightless this pulverisation is. I highly recommended trying this product out. You won't be disappointed!
